Disney Food Review 1: Lobster Nachos

Location: Ariel's Grotto, California Adventure Park
Price: $10-$12 depending if you have a passport discount
Rating 4/5

This is a treasure to find.  It's decently priced for the huge size and it tastes really good.  Note I didn't say GREAT!  The chips are quite thick and takes a toll on your chewing muscles.  The cheese is the harder sharp flavored type and not your typical runny nacho cheese.  The lobster is quite fresh and has a lot of flavor.  This dish is topped with fresh salsa (tomato, cilantro, and onions) and olives.  This is far from authentic mexican, but for a disneyland snack it does the trick!

Disneyland Quick Tip 1: Use your friends!

One of the biggest bummers that you can run into in the happiest place on earth is the long lines.  Especially during the summer lines can get as long as an hour to an hour and a half.  In order to by-pass this it's best that you use your friends.  YES I said use your friends, but not in the way you think.   If you have friends that have annual passports then you're in luck.  If you know a family who all have passports then even better!  All you have to do is simply ask to borrow their passports on the day you're visiting the park, not as a free pass to get in (buy your own ticket), and use them for the fast pass rides.  If you have 3 extra passports on hand that equals 3 fast passes!  For me that would be space mountain, splash mountain and indiana jones!  At the bottom of those passes there should be an indicated time that you're able to get another fast pass and by then you can fast pass 3 other rides without waiting!
